Tuesday, March 27th -
Today in class we finished our study of the Executive Branch. Specifically, we finished our study of the EOP, identied the influences on bureaucratic decision making, and discussed presidential leadership.

The test is TOMORROW!

Today in class we identified the responsibilities of the cabinet departments and took notes on the Executive Office of the President.

Homework:  Begin studying for the next test (Executive Branch).  The test will be either Wednesday or Thursday.

Today in clas we:
1.  Corrected last night's homework on presidential power.
2.  Took notes on the Roles of the President.
3.  Completed an assignment on Presidential Succession.
4.  Took notes on the federal bureaucracy and the cabinet.
5.  Started to identify the responsibilities of the cabinet departments.

Homework:  Read 8.3 and 10.1
Test on Wednesday or Thursday.

Thursday, March 22nd

Today in class we:
1.  Discussed the weaknesses of the Electoral College system.
2.  Took notes on the suggestion plans for changing the Electoral College.
3.  Identified the weaknesses on the various reform plans and discussed our preference.
4.  Started an assignment on presidential power.

The homework is to finish the presidential power assignment, and to read 9.1 and 9.2.
The reading assignment for Monday is to read 8.3 and 10.1

Today in class we took notes on the President, the Vice President, and the Electoral College.
We also identified the potential weaknesses of the Electoral College.

Today in class we worked on the project that is due on MONDAY.  We also took notes on staff and support agencies and reviewed how a bill becomes a law.

Homework:
Project due Monday.
Test on Tuesday.

Today in class we took notes on How a Bill Becomes a Law.  We also completed an individual assignment (questions -- see Wednesday folder).

Homework:
Bring materials to work on your required project tomorrow.

Project due on Monday.
