Today in class we reviewed the arguments of the Federalists and the Anti-Federalists AND discussed how the Constitution created a "more perfect union" than the government under the Articles of Confederation.  We also reviewed learning targets in preparation for Monday's test. 

Homework:
Study for Monday's test.

Thursday, February 5th

Today in class we:
1.  Completed the influences chart on page 42 of our binders.
2.  Compared the NJ Plan and the Virginia plans.
3.  Completed the notes on the Constitutional Convention;  If you were absent, be sure to get the notes from a friend. 
4.  Completed the Articles of Confederation Weaknesses chart on page 39 of our binders. 
5.  Read Lessons 16 and 17 from the We the People textbooks AND identified the reasons the Federalists supported ratification of the Constitution and reasons the Anti-Federalists opposed ratification.
6.  Completed an individual assignment for Ch. 2.  Copies are in the Thursday folder.

Homework:  Review learning targets before tomorrow's class.   Study for Monday's test.

Today in class we watched a video about Shays's Rebellion.  If you were absent, be sure to get the notes from a friend. 

We also took introductory notes on the Constitutional Convention.  Be sure to get those from a friend. 

The Chapter 2 test is on Monday.

Read 2.4 by Wednesday.
