Today in class we discussed the evolution of the three branches and took notes on the amendment process.  The homework is to completed the evens on the 3.4 study guide.

Today we studied the Supreme Court decision of Marbury v. Madison.  If you were absent, answer the questions on the back of Monday's reading assignment (and turn in for a grade).  We also completed charts to compare the legislative and executive branches.

Today in class we started our study of Chapter 3.  We analyzed learning targets, studied the Preamble to the Constitution, and took notes on constitutional structure and principles.

Today in class we finished our study of Chapter 2.  We discovered the reasons the Federalists were in favor of ratification of the Constitution, as well as reasons the Anti-Federalists were opposed to ratification.  We also took notes on the compromise between the two.

Create a Venn diagram that compares the New Jersey Plan and the Virginia Plan.

Today in class we created a chart of influences on the content of the US Constitution and took notes on the Declaration of Independence.  If you were absent, get the notes from a friend.

If you were absent you will also need to read the Declaration of Independence (textbook page 770) and complete the questions (in the Tuesday folder).
