Monday: No School
Tuesday: Today in class we took notes on the six principles of the Constitution, discussed learning targets 7 and 9, read the Marbury v Madison case study, and answered Marbury v. Madison questions.
Friday: Completed Goal Progress paper, took notes (get from a friend), completed the Constitution Scavenger Hunt, and started Chapter 3, section 4 packet.

We also started our study of Chapter 3. If you were absent, be sure to get the notes from a friend. Today in class we completed a Chapter 2 Timeline, reviewed learning targets, and watched a video to prepare for tomorrow's test.
Today in class we took notes on the ratification debate and identified the beliefs of the Federalists and the Anti-Federalists.
The test is Wednesday. Today in class we reviewed the influences on the content of the U.S. Constitution and took notes on the Constitutional Convention. We also completed the last column of the chart that is on p. 39 of your three ring binder.
There is no homework. Test will be Tuesday or Wednesday of next week. Today in class we watched a video about Shays' Rebellion. If you were absent, be sure to get the video notes from a friend.

Today we played some Constitution trivia and then watched two video clips about the Constitutional Convention. We also worked to understand the effects of the weaknesses of the Articles of Confederation and identified the significance of Shays's Rebellion and the Annapolis Convention. There is no homework. The Chapter 2 Test is next week. Today in class we finished our study of the Declaration of Independence and started our study of the Articles of Confederation. If you were absent, be sure to get the notes from a friend.
The homework is to complete the Chapter 2 Questions (in the Tuesday folder). Today in class we reviewed influences on the content of the US Constitution (get the notes from a friend).
We also took notes on the political steps toward revolution and the Declaration of Independence. If you were absent, you need to read the Declaration of Independence and complete the cooperative learning questions that are in the Monday folder in the classroom. Homework: Read Chapter 2, Sections 2 and 3. Essay is due tomorrow. |
