Reminders: 1. Notebook Checks this week. 2. Quiz AND Essay Section of the Exam on WEDNESDAY. 3. Exam AND Voting Extra Credit due on FRIDAY. Today in class we completed the political preference quiz, found at isidewith.com. While not required, you are encouraged to complete the quiz.
We also completed the note packet from yesterday. Be sure to get the notes from a friend. Remember - The extra credit is due Monday. Today in class we:
1. Took notes on why the U.S. has a two party system, third parties, obstacles of third parties, and functions of political parties. 2. Identified and defined the types of nomination methods. 3. Identified pros and cons of open primaries and closed primaries. Reminders: 1. Extra Credit is due Monday. 2. Quiz on Wednesday. 3. Exam on 12/1 If you were absent, be sure to get the notes from a friend.
