Complete the Presidential Succession worksheet. 5. Define the EOP Agencies (Chapter 8, Section 4 will help you) The executive and judicial branch test will be Friday or Monday. 1. Use Article II to identify the expressed powers of the President. 2. Get the notes (Expansion of Presidential Power" from a friend. 3. Identify the limits on presidential power. Homework: 1. Describe the responsibilities of the first 8 cabinet departments on the Bureaucratic Organization/Cabinet Departments worksheet. IF SCHOOL IS CANCELED ON MONDAY: Complete the entire bureaucratic organization/cabinet department worksheet. If you were absent today:
1. Get the notes from a friend. (Electoral College; Electoral College Reform Plans) 2. Identify the weaknesses of the Electoral College 3. Identify the weaknesses of the Reform Plans. 4. Read Article II If you were absent you missed the Legislative Branch Test. Please make arrangements to make up the test. You also missed notes on the Executive Branch. Be sure to get the notes from a friend.
The homework is to read "Electoral College Issues" on pages 223 and 224. Today in class we reviewed the Legislative Branch Learning Targets.
In 3rd period we also started our study of the Executive Branch. Be sure to get the LTs and the notes from a friend. The Legislative Branch Test is tomorrow. If you were absent today, be sure you are comfortable with the information found on binder pages 93-106.
