We analyzed learning targets for the legislative branch. Received vocabulary terms for the legislative branch. Read Chapter 5, Section 1 AND Chapter 5, Section 4. Took introductory notes on Congress. Completed the Reapportionment and Redistricting worksheet and the Ch. 5 questions (both are in the Monday folder). ON TUESDAY We went over yesterday's notes and the reapportionment assignment. We watched a video about redistricting. We defined the responsibilities of the different types of committees that exist in Congress. HOMEWORK: Study for the vocabulary Quiz (Monday) THURSDAY - Today in class we took the Chapter 18-19 Quiz. We also watched a video clip about Congress AND analyzed the last test.
FRIDAY - NO SCHOOL Today in class we:
1. Completed an assignment for 19.2 and 19.3 2. Finished the notes for Ch. 19. 3. Prepared for tomorrow's test. HW: Study for tomorrow's test. Today in class we:
