- Discussed the expressed powers of Congress.
- Discussed the denied powers of Congress.
- Took notes on the non-legislative powers of Congress, the special powers of the House and Senate, and Legislative Oversight.

ON MONDAY:
We analyzed learning targets for the legislative branch.
Received vocabulary terms for the legislative branch.
Read Chapter 5, Section 1 AND Chapter 5, Section 4.
Took introductory notes on Congress.
Completed the Reapportionment and Redistricting worksheet and the Ch. 5 questions (both are in the Monday folder).

ON TUESDAY
We went over yesterday's notes and the reapportionment assignment.
We watched a video about redistricting.
We defined the responsibilities of the different types of committees that exist in Congress.
