TUESDAY Today in class we took notes on the bureaucracy and identified common problems of the bureaucracy. The homework is to answer the following questions in your notebook: 1. Why do bureaucratic pathologies exist? 2. Why is it difficult to reform the bureaucracy? 3. List ways that Congress can limit the bureaucracy. 4. list ways that the President can limit the bureaucracy. 5. List various factors that can influence bureaucratic decision making. Also - Read Chapter 14. No political cartoon due this week. Executive Quiz on Thursday. Today in class we finished our study of the presidency and started our study of the bureaucracy.
If you were absent, be sure to get the notes from a friend. Also - list how presidential power is limited AND how presidents get support. Homework: Read the bureaucratic pathologies article and Chapter 13 before Tuesday. Today in class we:
