Today in class we reviewed for tomorrow's Chapter 7 Test.
The homework is to study for your test. Today in class we:
1. Reviewed LTs for Chapter 7 2. Watched a video clip about money supply / monetary policy 3. Read textbook pages 278-279 AND page 282 4. Read the Cross of Gold speech (See Monday folder) 5. Homework: Answer questions 1, 2, 4, and 5 on page 282. Use complete sentences. Today in class we:
1. Identified the farmer protest groups that developed in the West during the Post-Reconstruction Era. 2. Identified the government response to the protest groups. 3. Watched a video clip about the Interstate Commerce Act and the Populists. 4. Took notes on the Populists. There is no homework. The test is tentatively scheduled for Wednesday of next week. Today in class we completed the 7.3 questions, discussed issues related to western farming, mining, and cattle ranching, and took notes on 7.4.
There is no homework. The Chapter 7 test is next week. If you were absent, read "Key Battles" on pages 263-265 AND all of 7.3. Complete the 7.2 and 7.3 worksheets, which are in the Wednesday folder.

In your opinion, what was the most significant push factor during the period of Western Expansion? Why? 6. Complete the 7.1 and 7.2 Questions (see Monday folder) If you were absent today, please make arrangements to make-up the Chapter 8 Test.
