1. Reviewed how a bill becomes a law. 2. Identified reasons for and against congressional term limits. Test is MONDAY. Today in class we discussed the factors that influence congressional decision making, took notes on the ways that interest groups influence members of Congress and the ways that members of Congress serve their constituents.
Test is tentatively scheduled for FRIDAY (but MIGHT be on Monday). Today in class we reviewed how a bill becomes a law and completed an assignment on how a bill becomes a law (see Tuesday folder). We also took notes on staff and support agencies and then worked with a partner to identify the influences on members of Congress.
Tentative Test - Friday. Today in class we learned how a bill becomes a law. If you were absent, be sure to get the notes from a friend.
